10-22-18 — Olathe Students Earn Perfect ACT Score

Oct. 22, 2018 ~ Two Olathe students recently achieved a perfect score on the ACT exam: Olathe Northwest High School junior Dallin Armstrong and Olathe North High School junior Eddie Dai. Nationally while the actual number of students earning a composite score of 36 varies from year to year, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students taking the ACT earn a top score. This makes three perfect ACT scores in the Olathe School District for this year.

“We are proud of Eddie, his academic drive has led to this amazing achievement,” Olathe North Principal Jason Herman said. “This shows the impact that our staff and teachers across the Olathe district have on our students.”

“We are so proud of Dallin and his achievement,” Olathe Northwest Principal Chris Zuck said. “Dallin exemplifies what it means to work hard in the classroom.”

Dai is involved in the Distinguished Scholars Academy, Science Olympiad, Scholars Bowl, Science Bowl, Interscholastic Speech and Drama, Student Democrats and Asian Culture Club.

Armstrong is an Eagle Scout, involved in track, basketball and Link Crew.
