Dec. 16, 2016 ~ Keeping students safe and healthy is a top priority for the Olathe School District. The district is partnering with ATS HeartCheck to offer comprehensive heart screenings for students from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturdays, Jan. 21 and Jan. 28 in the Instructional Resource Center, 14090 Black Bob Road, Olathe.

ATS HeartCheck screenings include a blood pressure check, an EKG, an echocardiogram (heart ultrasound) and cardiologist's report to help diagnose hidden conditions. A limited number of appointments are available for a discounted rate of $99 for students age 8 and older.

Pre-registration is required and spots will fill quickly. Financial aid is available for those who qualify, and most health savings accounts are accepted as payment.
