Olathe East Coach Represents District, School on National Stage

Olathe East High School boys and girls soccer coach Terry Hair has been selected to coach the boys team in the 2019 High School All-American Game. Hair will coach the West Team.

“Olathe East is extremely proud that Coach Terry Hair will be representing our district and state by coaching the All American Boy’s Soccer Team in Orlando this December,” Olathe East Principal Kerry Lane said. “Coach Hair has led four boys teams and four girls teams to Kansas State Championships in his tenure at Olathe East and has a total of nine state championships coaching in the Olathe School District. Coach Hair’s proven record of excellence throughout his coaching tenure makes him a perfect recipient of this high honor.”

Olathe Administrator Earns National Credentials

Olathe East High School Assistant Princpal and Athletic Director Kaleb Stoppel earned the Certified Athletic Administrators (CAA) certification following comprehensive coursework and an examination.

“We are extremely proud of Dr. Stoppel for completing course work and passing an exam to become a nationally certified athletic administrator,” Olathe Public Schools Director of Athletics and Activities Tim Brady said. “By achieving this notoriety, Dr. Stoppel has expertise in a wide variety of areas including sports law, organizational management, event management, safety/security, public relations, budgeting/finances, and risk management.”
