Nov. 21, 2019 ~ The Olathe Public Schools Board of Education voted today to negotiate a final contract with DS Bus Lines as its 2020-21 bus transportation provider. The decision came after seeking proposals from numerous organizations in an effort to provide the highest quality transportation at an affordable rate.

“Our current provider will finish out this school year,” said Deputy Superintendent for Business and Operations John Hutchison. “Our first priority is to have a seamless transition to the new provider. It is our goal to make sure our students and parents experience the best service.”

DS Bus Lines has a strong track record of customer service, attracting high quality drivers, and operating state-of-the-art technology systems. Families should not see any change in cost during the 2020-21 school year with this new provider because of this transition, Hutchison said.
