Nov. 13, 2019 ~ Red, white and blue clothing, handmade flags and decorations set a patriotic mood for Veterans Day activities in schools across the district on Nov. 11. Veterans were invited to take part in assemblies, enjoy breakfast at school, hear patriotic music sung by students, and be recognized for their military service. Students at one school learned to salute thanks to their veteran guests.
