12-1-20 — Virtual Presentation Explores Services Waiver

Dec. 1, 2020 ~ The Olathe Special Services Site Council will host a virtual presentation for parents of students with disabilities and exceptionalities on Tuesday, Dec. 8. The topic is “Home and Community-Based Services Waiver.” Parents can join the Zoom session from 6:30-7:30 p.m. that evening.

This session is appropriate for families of students in third through 12th grades.

Johnson County Community Developmental Disabilities Organization staff will discuss and answer questions about the home and community-based services waiver. This includes how and when to apply, the waiting list, and services a child may receive if eligible for the waiver. The JCCDDO helps coordinate services and supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
