April 25, 2025 ~ April is National Volunteer Month, and we’re recognizing the incredible volunteers who make a difference in our district!
This past Tuesday, we hosted our End-of-Year Volunteer Recognition Event to honor the 130 community partners and 639 dedicated volunteers who donated more than 16,916 hours of their time this year to support Olathe students and schools!
“Olathe Public Schools clearly understands that it takes all of us to prepare students for their future,” said Heather Schoonover, Director of Community Development. "As we celebrate 33 years of a strong, school-based volunteer program and look ahead to our 12th year of Adopt-A-School partnerships, we’re grateful for the many systems in place that connect volunteers to meaningful opportunities across the district.”
We are incredibly thankful for the passion, time, and commitment our volunteers bring to our schools every day.
