March 3, 2025 ~ The Olathe Board of Education will hold its regular meeting at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, March 6 in the Education Center, 14160 S. Black Bob Road, Olathe.  

Anyone wishing to address the board at the regular meeting should email Clerk of the Board Barb Behm before noon Thursday, March 6. See our Rules for Public Comment webpage for details.  

The regular meeting will begin with the Pledge of Allegiance led by a Step Up student, followed by the board adopting their meeting agenda.  

The board will recognize an outstanding principal, elementary math champions, and talented high school dancers.  

Three presentations are planned: school spotlight on the Step Up adult diploma program; legislative session update; as well as an overview of the district’s positive behavior interventions and supports and mental health services for students. 

The board will act on a consent agenda of routine items as well as several bids, contracts and agreements. Board members will receive information on more than two dozen future action items and three written reports.  

An executive session is planned for the board to discuss employer-employee negotiations.
