Executive Director of Student and Community Engagement
Originally from California, Erik Erazo enlisted in the United States Army after earning his high school diploma. Erazo started at Olathe North High School 20 years ago and was inspired to further his education. Soon after, he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education.
Throughout his career, Erazo has created various programs for students. His two flagship programs are the Olathe Leadership Lowrider Bike Club and The Spot which provide mentorship and encourage students to maintain their personal identities while removing negative activities.
Erazo serves on multiple community boards, including as the vice president of the Executive Board of United Community Services of Johnson County (UCS), Men of Color in Educational Leadership (MCEL), El Centro, City of Olathe Citizens Police Advisory Council, Disproportionate Minority Contact of Johnson County, Criminal Justice Sub-Committee, Latino Leadership Network, KC BizFest, and the National Community Policing Committee.
Erazo received the 2013 Olathe Human Relations Educator Award, 2017 Olathe Public Schools Emporia State University Master Teacher Award, 2018 MidAmerica Nazarene University Teacher Who Inspires Award, 2018 KC Royals Buck O’Neil Legacy Seat, 2019 City of Olathe Cathedral Builder Award, 2021 NAACP Hero for Diversity Award, and the 2021 Olathe Police Service Award. In 2023, Erazo was selectd as the U.S. Navy Blue Angels Key Influencer.
His work has been featured on numerous news stations, including 41 Action News, Fox 4 KC, Olathe News, and the Johnson's County Gazette. He was also featured on the front page of the Kansas City Star in 2013 and 2022.

Student and Family Support Specialist
An alumnus of the Olathe School District, Jean Cantero assists students and families across the school district with various programming and support services. Cantero brings years of experience in providing students with guidance on navigating post-secondary institutions and accessing area resources.
Cantero attended school in Olathe from kindergarten through high school, graduating in 2013 from Olathe South High School. As a first-generation college graduate, Cantero has an understanding of the barriers students face in their academic journey and how to best overcome these challenges. After earning his undergraduate degree, Cantero began working in college admissions to advocate for students striving to continue their education. Additionally, his experience includes advising students on scholarship access and collegiate resources. In 2021, Cantero returned to the Olathe Public Schools as the student and family support specialist for the Department of Student & Community Engagement.
Cantero serves on multiple community boards including the board of directors for the Olathe Public Schools Alumni Association, Olathe YMCA Community Mission Board, and the Hispanic Advisory Council for the Men of Color in Educational Leadership (MCEL).
Cantero earned a bachelor’s degree in 2017 and a master’s degree in 2020, both from Emporia State University.

Language Management Specialist
Originally from Mexico, Liliana Gallegos came to the United States in 2007. That same year, she accepted a position with the Olathe School District and was motivated to continue her education. In 2013, Gallegos completed her Supervision Management Certificate. While in school, she earned the 2014 Outstanding Student Award for her exemplary academic performance. In 2016, she completed her associate degree, and two years later, Gallegos earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Cum Laude from Ottawa University. In 2023, she graduated with her Master of Science in Counseling and Student Development from Kansas State University.
