Olathe Public Schools COVID-19 Dashboard

  • The dashboard below is designed to share a weekly snapshot of new COVID-19 cases and new quarantines in the district. The Olathe Public Schools has 30,000 students and more than 6,400 full-time, part-time and temp staff members.

    Starting on Aug. 20, the district will post cumulative (total new case and total new quarantine) district data for staff and students. This cumulative data will be posted each week. The school-by-school dashboard covers a full two-week window at each school. This will be posted starting Aug. 30 after the first two full weeks of school.

    Confirmed Cases

    If a student or staff member tests positive for COVID-19, a notification will go to the parents of students and the staff who have been in close contact with that individual. This notification will not include identifying information about the individual who tested positive. Due to privacy laws, staff will be unable to provide identifying information about the individual or class. The district will work closely with the Johnson County Department of Health and Environment (JCDHE) should cases arise in school and to determine next steps.
