New hire benefits begin the first of the month following your hire date. Plan details and rates can be found in the 2020 benefits guide or in the plan summary pages in the grey boxes along the left side of the page.

Benefits Enrollment Process
The IRS gives you 30 calendar days from your hire date to complete benefits enrollment.
The district is currently in-between benefits enrollment platforms so we are enrollment by paper. The following forms need to be completed and returned by email to Lisa Roberts at email@example.com.

- Lincoln Beneficiary Form, if you are enrolling in life insurance
If you elected the $2,800 Blue Select Plus or $2,800 Spira Care medical plan, remember to open your Health Savings Account (HSA) with UMB. Instructions are in your benefits packet and listed below. The district cannot contribute the $140 each month until the account is open.
