Olathe Public Schools is excited to announce a new partnership with LifeWorks. Beginning Oct. 1, LifeWorks is providing the district's Employee Assistance Program. Our Employee Assistance Program offers immediate support and referral to the most appropriate resource to help you and members of your household manage everyday life issues.
EAP professionals are available to assist you with:
- Everyday needs and life events
- Weight control
- Relationship concerns
- Coping with serious illness
- Loss of a loved one
- Eating disorders
- Smoking cessation
- and much more
Counseling services are available 24/7, even on holidays. Sessions can be in person, by video, via phone or through text.

Work-Life Services offers extensive assistance, information and support to help you achieve a better balance between work, life and family to help make your life easier. What if I need help for an emergency?
EAP services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. There is always a licensed professional available to help in a crisis.

Are the counselors professionals?
EAP counselors have at least a master's degree in behavioral health and a state license to provide these services.

How much do EAP services cost?
It's free. Olathe Public Schools covers the cost for you and your family members to use EAP services. You receive 6 sessions for free per issue.

You will be referred to an attorney who can assist you. As part of the program, you have access to a free 30-minute consultation with a local attorney. Any further legal services needed are discounted 25%.
