Applications to the 21st Century Academies for the 2023-24 school year will:
- Open on Nov. 9 at 7 a.m.
- Close on Nov. 17 at 10 p.m.

Application Season Timeline 2023-24

| October | Academies Spirit Week at the middle schools | 2 |
| Late October and early November | Open Houses at the High Schools. Click on Community Open House Channel. | 3 |
| November 9th at 7am | Online Application opens | 4 |
| November 17th at 10pm | Online Application closes | 5 |
| December 14th | Interview information and signups will be communicated to applicants on or before this date by the individual academies. | 6 |
| Through January 11th | Interviews with individual Academies beginning when the applications close through Jan 11th. Parents should be present. | 7 |
| January 12th at 4pm | Notifications of invitations sent via link. | 8 |
| Prior to January 17th by 10pm | Students invited must respond to notification with "accept" or decline." | 9 |
| Late January to Early February | Eighth grade students will enroll in high school. Students accepted into an academy will enroll at the high school where the academy is located. | 10 |
