The 2022 Kansas ProStart Invitational was held March 9 at the Corporate Hills Wichita Marriott. We are proud of all that the students accomplished.
Congratulations to the Culinary Team of Eli Shepherd, Kayla Vander Meer, Jonathan Gardner, Vanessa Padillo-Moreno, Brayden Green, and Christian Harney for their Best Pork dish and First Place win in the Culinary Competition.
Congratulations to the five-member Management Team made up of Ainsley Sulzen, Ella Irwin, Kennedy Clark, and Alyssa Roland for their Second-Place win in the Management Competition. They made a great presentation of their Green Grounds Restaurant concept.

ProStart is nationwide, two-year program that unites the classroom and industry to develop the best and brightest talent into tomorrow's restaurant and food-service leaders. The ProStart curriculum is used in the Olathe Public Schools Culinary Arts program.
