    Any ONW Track athlete that has finished their season needs to get their clean uniform checked in to coach Stephens in room 1207 immediately or you will be charged for it.

    Are you looking to make new friends? Are you interested in scifi or fantasy? Do you like role playing games? Join the Dungeons and Dragons Club! No experience is required! Meetings are every Tuesday from 3-4pm in room 1208. See Ms. Wheeler with any questions.

    Interested in anime? want to hang out for an hour after school? Come join anime club! room 1325 every tuesday at 3:10

    Juniors in a 21st Century Program are encouraged to attend an informational presentation on applying for an internship for this summer or Fall 2019.  It will be held Friday, April 26, in the Library during Lunch A.

    The Aviary, ONW's literary magazine, is now accepting submissions for the Spring 2019 issue. Our theme is muse. We are accepting submissions that are inspired by our featured artists OR other sources. Deadline is 4/26. Submit at onwlitmag.weebly.com.

    Attention current juniors- interested in being on Senior Committee for your Class of 2020? Pick up an application packet in the front office today! Packets due in full by 3pm on Friday April 26th. Questions? See Mrs. Hamilton or Mrs. Hunt ASAP.

    Interested in helping the environment or need service hours? Join Olathe Teen Council for Green Up, Clean Up on April 27th. We will spend the morning picking up trash along the Indian Creek. More information can be found in Student Services.

    Attention class of 2021. Interested in helping to plan powder puff and prom? Apply for Junior Committee. Applications will be available in the front office from 4/23 to 4/28 and are due to Mrs. Hanson or Ms. Wheeler's mailbox by 4/29.

    Can you do a back handspring? Have you been a gymnast? If this is you, we’d LOVE to have you be a part of the ONW Gymnastics team in August! We will have a spring meeting for all interested gymnasts on Monday, April 29th at 5pm at the Mill Creek Campus in Olathe (300 E. Loula St.) Come meet the coaches and ask questions. If you have questions, please see your Athletic Director.

    ONW Students - Are you interested in exploring Europe and experiencing the amazing culture, sites and food?   If yes, there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday May 1st in room 1221 at 7:00 pm. See Mrs Laflen for more info. Rm 1221.

    the summer program should enroll online at www.olatheschools.com, academics, high school, and then on the left hand side there is a driver’s education box.

    Quincy University will be visiting ONW on Tuesday and Kansas City Kansas Community College will be visiting on Friday.  Stop by Student Services to sign up for these visits.

    Ravens! Coming up is ONW’s Can Drive Dodgeball Tournament. The tournament will take place after school on April 16th at 3:30. 12 teams will battle it out and the winners get to play a team of teachers during seminar on April 18th to determine the ultimate champions!

    If you want to enter a team into the tournament you can collect registration forms from the office or room 1325. The entrance fee for teams is 5 cans per person, turn your forms and cans into our table in the commons before school or during Raven 50. If you

    want to watch the epic tournament you can bring 1 can to our table during Raven 50 to receive a seminar pass.

    ONW is hosting a bone marrow drive to get people entered into the registry for those who are at least 18 years old on April 17th in the flex. This is a check swab in order to see if your genetic markers will match a person in need of stem cells.

    The KU-Honors College will be visiting ONW Tuesday & the University of Missouri will be visiting on Thursday. Next week Quincy University & Kansas City Kansas Community College will be visiting. Stop by Student Services to sign up for these visits.

    The ONW Writing Center is now open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during Raven 50 Lunch B in the library. Students may sign up for appointments at  onwwritingcenter.weebly.com.

    Looking for the perfect dress this season? Join Show Me Shoes Foundation as we give back to girls in need. Register to receive a FREE Prom Dress at "Prom Project 9, More than a Dress!" on April 7th from 3-6PM. Enjoy an afternoon of giveaways, makeovers and lots of love!     Prom will be held on April 13 at Pinstripes. Tickets will be sold at lunch April 8th-April 12th for $30 or $50/couple. Out of district date forms are available in the office starting April 1st and are due by April 8th to Ms. Wheeler or Mrs. Hanson.

    Calling all VOLUNTEERS! Jadon’s Hope Bug Run would love to have you! We can’t do it without you! This is a great way to help out a great run, that benefits an amazing foundation!

    All our volunteers will get a free shirt PLUS, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will be giving out frozen treats to all our volunteers on Volunteer Night, March 25th!

    Kon nichi wa (Cone neechee wah) Hello! Students from our sister school in Japan will provide a brief presentation on Tuesday, March 26, during Raven A in the Flex Theater. Come meet them and help them feel welcome. Arigato (Ah dee Gah Toe).

    It's March Madness! Stop into the library by March 27 to place your vote for who will win the NCAA tourney and see who all of your teachers and building staff chose! Check out NEW Fiction and Non fiction basketball books and keep updated on scores!

    Come see the inspiring story of Helen Keller and her teacher as the ONW Drama Dept presents the great classic, The Miracle Worker, next Friday and Saturday March 29th and 30th at 7pm. Tickets available online or at the door for $7.

    Any RFC applicant who has not turned in your 2019-20 application packet, please turn those in by 3 PM today for consideration.

    All applications for students interested in running for candidacy for STUCO, Sr. Class Committee, or Jr. Class Committee are due TODAY.

    "Do you like hiking, climbing or hammocking? If so, you might be interested in the Outdoor Adventure Club! If you would like more information, a meeting will be held in Mr. Fouquet's room during lunch A on Friday the 8th.  Hope to see you there!"

    Congratulations to the Lady Raven Hoop Squad for qualifying for State..

    We need Raven Nation to Help create an environment similar to the one you did at Olathe West this season…

    …and this time we get to add our incredible band into the mix!  That Combo is a 6th man that can help make a difference!

    Permission slips/ Information and sign-ups for the Spirit Buses will be made available in the commons during lunch.

    The bus will leave at approx. 11:15am on Thursday and return after the game concludes.

    Let’s GOOOOO!!!

    Good morning Northwest. Here are today’s daily announcements for Monday, March 4th.

    Congratulations to the Lady Raven Hoop Squad for their Big win over #1 Blue Valley North on Saturday night 52-46!!!

    That Big win punches our school’s ticket to the State Tournament this Thursday in Wichita!

    3 other Olathe schools have also qualified for State and their student-bodies will be heading down in buses to support them.
