    Calling all VOLUNTEERS! Jadon’s Hope Bug Run would love to have you! We can’t do it without you! This is a great way to help out a great run, that benefits an amazing foundation!

    All our volunteers will get a free shirt PLUS, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will be giving out frozen treats to all our volunteers on Volunteer Night, March 25th!

    Kon nichi wa (Cone neechee wah) Hello! Students from our sister school in Japan will provide a brief presentation on Tuesday, March 26, during Raven A in the Flex Theater. Come meet them and help them feel welcome. Arigato (Ah dee Gah Toe).

    It's March Madness! Stop into the library by March 27 to place your vote for who will win the NCAA tourney and see who all of your teachers and building staff chose! Check out NEW Fiction and Non fiction basketball books and keep updated on scores!

    Come see the inspiring story of Helen Keller and her teacher as the ONW Drama Dept presents the great classic, The Miracle Worker, next Friday and Saturday March 29th and 30th at 7pm. Tickets available online or at the door for $7.

    Attention all new NHS members.  Your $20.00 membership dues are due to Mrs. Lunney by Friday April 5th.  Please stop by room 1219 to pay your fees.  Also, new members, if you are interested in being an officer next year please see Mrs. Lunney about the process for running for the four positions.

    Cheer Tryouts for the 2019-2020 squad are April 26th. Please pick up a tryout packet in the front office! Applications are due April 11th- GO RAVENS!

    SENIORS!!!
    If you did not pick up your Jostens order and it is paid for in full, please see Debbie in the front office.

    Any RFC applicant who has not turned in your 2019-20 application packet, please turn those in by 3 PM today for consideration.

    All applications for students interested in running for candidacy for STUCO, Sr. Class Committee, or Jr. Class Committee are due TODAY.

    "Do you like hiking, climbing or hammocking? If so, you might be interested in the Outdoor Adventure Club! If you would like more information, a meeting will be held in Mr. Fouquet's room during lunch A on Friday the 8th.  Hope to see you there!"

    Do you like to sing? Do you sing in your car? Or even in the shower? ONW Choirs need YOUR VOICE in our choirs next year!! Auditions for advanced choirs will be after Spring Break on March 19, 20 and 21. See Mrs. Williamson for more information!

    Good morning. Here are today’s daily announcements for Tuesday, March 5th.

    Congratulations to the Lady Raven Hoop Squad for qualifying for State..

    We need Raven Nation to Help create an environment similar to the one you did at Olathe West this season…

    …and this time we get to add our incredible band into the mix!  That Combo is a 6th man that can help make a difference!

    Permission slips/ Information and sign-ups for the Spirit Buses will be made available in the commons during lunch.

    The bus will leave at approx. 11:15am on Thursday and return after the game concludes.

    Let’s GOOOOO!!!

    Don't let your last late start go to waste! Join Tri-M Music Honor Society and the Jazz 1 Band for a morning of music and relaxation on Thursday from 7:30 - 8:10am. Entrance is free and food is available for one dollar.

    Good morning Northwest. Here are today’s daily announcements for Monday, March 4th.

    Congratulations to the Lady Raven Hoop Squad for their Big win over #1 Blue Valley North on Saturday night 52-46!!!

    That Big win punches our school’s ticket to the State Tournament this Thursday in Wichita!

    3 other Olathe schools have also qualified for State and their student-bodies will be heading down in buses to support them.

    Are looking to get involved in more school spirit? Do you love to display your Raven pride? RFC is looking to add new members to the family for the 19/20 school year. If you want to be a part of the family or are just interested in what RFC is, go to room 1319 to pick up an application.

    Winter Formal is rescheduled for Saturday, March 2 - so come join us "By The Fireplace"! Tickets will be sold all next week during Raven A & B in the Commons.

    Friday, March 1 is DENIM DAY before the Dance! Show your spirit and do the denim thing before you throw on all your finest threads for Winter Formal on Saturday, March 2!

    Seniors:  The final deadline to purchase yearbook senior ads is March 6th.  If you missed the form mailed home, you can download a new form on the school website or pick up a form in the front office.

    Any students interested in running track that missed the meeting please see coach Stephens in room 1207 to get information about the upcoming season.

    All girls planning on trying out for soccer next week must stop by room 1223 during Lunch A either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday to meet with Coach Graham regarding the tryout process next week.

    The ONW Chess Club is hosting the first-ever Olathe District Chess Tournament on Tuesday, Feb 26 at 5pm in the Ravens Nest. Registration begins at 4:30 and the entry fee’s only $5. You’re guaranteed to play in 5 games. You must reserve your spot by Friday, Feb 22, by contacting Mr. Harris in Room 1310 or pharrisonw@olatheschools.org 

    Rival Night on the West side.

    Olathe Northwest and Olathe West basketball showdown is tonight at Olathe West.  Women’s game is at 5:30 and Men’s game is at 7pm. Come out and bring the noise.
