Importance of Mental Wellness
-
Mental wellness is very important for student success at school. The Olathe Public Schools provides a variety of resources to support mental wellness. Parents are encouraged to monitor their student’s mental health and to reach out if help is needed. Each school’s counselor can provide further resources for students and partner with parents to provide school-day supports for their student. Many schools also have mental health therapists on site to provide therapy to students.
Contact your individual school’s counselor for more information.

If you have concerns outside of school hours (Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) about yourself or another student, please call 988 to get immediate assistance, as school emails and phones are not monitored outside of school hours.
