  • Senior Awards and Academic Signing Scholarship Information

Posted by Deborah Stewart on 1/17/2019

Attention Senior Parents and Seniors  -- UPDATED INFO as of 1/17/19

The Senior Academic Signing will be held on Thursday, May 2nd in the Main Gym during Seminar at 2:15 PM.  Senior Awards Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 8th in the OE Auditorium at 7:00 PM.

Every year the counseling department collects scholarship information in order to recognize students at both of these events. This year we will also be recognizing students that have been accepted to attend highly selective schools that do not offer scholarships. Scholarships and acceptance to a highly selective school must be submitted using the NEW link below by April 19th in order for your student to be recognized at these events.

In order to submit scholarships, students will need to know their student school email address and will need to have digital (scanned) copies of their scholarship acceptance letters to upload.

Olathe East students who are taking College Now or Quick Step courses through JCCC can order their JCCC transcript at the following link:  Request JCCC Transcript

Students need to use the Career Cruising website to send their high school transcript to JCCC or any other college. JCCC will continue to accept official high school transcripts sent through Career Cruising, and will not accept a hand carried transcript from a student.

JCCC transcripts will not be released if there is a hold on the student's record.
