All curriculum standards are important, but some standards are more influential than others. Priority Standards are the carefully selected subset of the standards and skills that not only influence student success now, but in future grade levels. Teachers place a high degree of focus on Priority Standards by spending more time instructing, assessing and providing feedback to students in order for students to gain the level of proficiency required for future success.
Use the menu at the left to see the priority standards for each grade level or subject area, and a page of information to help patrons understand the origin and purpose of standards.
