2025 is my first year teaching at Ridgeview. I graduated from Emporia State University (the Kansas City campus) with a degree in Elementary Education. I student-taught at Ridgeview in the spring and fall of 2024, and am excited to return as a fourth grade teacher!

When I was in fourth grade, I decided that I wanted to be a teacher. And now, I have come full circle, teaching in the fourth grade. I love to support and care for the students and want them to feel safe and loved within my classroom. It is a joy to see them learn, rise to the challenge and grow in their confidence. My goal is to help each student achieve, succeed and grow.

I started working at Ridgeview in the fall of 2021. I went to Emporia State University where I received my Elementary Education degree. I graduated with my Master's in Instructional Specialist, Reading Specialist from Emporia State University in December 2023. I also hold an ELL endorsement.

I went into education because I wanted to help motivate students to find their love of reading and to help students who struggle with reading to learn to read. I love to watch students have those aha moments when they understand something.
