I started teaching at Ridgeview in the fall of 2022. 

I graduated with my bachelors of science in Elementary education in 2015 from Emporia State University. I then received my Masters in Instructional Specialist with a Concentration in Elementary STEM from Emporia State University in 2023. I also have an ELL endorsement.

I chose education because I really wanted to make a difference every day. One of my favorite things about teaching is when that light bulb goes off and you can see the progress of each child! I am very excited about continuing my teaching career at Ridgeview!

I began working at Ridgeview in the fall of 2024. I attended Kansas City Kansas Community College where I obtained my associate degree, then went to Emporia State University where I graduated with my degree in education. I went back to Emporia State University shortly thereafter to get my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I also received my ESOL endorsement at Kansas State University.

My journey in education has been to build the strongest relationships with students and families to support each student in their educational growth. I love seeing students achieve goals after they work so hard and apply their efforts to learn new things.
