Kimberly Michaelis joined the Olathe West orchestras in the fall of 2019 after 17 years in the Gardner Edgerton and Shawnee Mission school districts. She also teaches at Forest View Elementary and assists at elementary schools and middle schools in the Olathe West area. She shares her home with eight instruments, including a piano, keyboard, three violins, guitar, ukulele, and harmonica.
