Parents/POPs

  • Any successful music organization depends on involved and committed parents — that's you!  This page provides information we hope will be helpful to orchestra parents, as well as information about our orchestra booster organization (POPs). Olathe West Orchestras are fortunate to have support from a strong "parliament of parents" (a group of owls is called a "parliament") and we encourage all parents to find a small way to get involved!

    We are assembling volunteers for the 2023-2024 school year. Please visit our SignUpGenius to see which events could benefit from your special talents! Current sign-ups for orchestra and Orchestra POPS can be found on our document during the year.

    All parents/guardians of OW orchestra students are automatically members of the Olathe West Orchestra Parliament of Parents (POPs) booster organization. Parents/guardians (and students!) are encouraged to attend our regular organization meetings, which occur three to four times per year. The executive board meets monthly and reports at these regular organization meetings. Our current officers and meeting schedule are listed below. RaiseRight Gift Card Fundraising

  • RaiseRight gift card orders are due by the 20th of most months, and you can pick up gift card orders on the 30th after school outside the Commons Entrance.

    You can send your RaiseRight Program Agreement form (available at the bottom of this page) to the school office, the orchestra room, or email it to Rhondi Wilmot

    Please send your RaiseRight Gift Card Order form (available at the bottom of this page) with payment to the school office or to the orchestra room. Thank you.

Donations

  • Orchestra POPs is accepting donations using Venmo (@OWOrchestraPOPs) or you may send a check (made out to Orchestra POPs Club) to the orchestra room.
