    - Congratulations to the Varsity Girls bowling team for their 2nd place finish on Saturday!  Emily Stamper and Skylar Valdez finished 1st and 2nd overall!  Great Job!

    - Eagle Service Club is teaming up with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and collecting “Pennies for Patients”. If you are interested in donating money, see Mrs. Warren or an Eagle Service Club member who is caring around a box labeled “Join the Hero Squad”. We are collecting money until February 15th which is the night ON plays ONW. We won the spirit stick last year for collecting more than ONW last year, so Eagle Service Club wants to do it again!

    - Attention all current 10th and 11th graders interested in being a Link Leader for the 2019-20 School Year: Applications are available in the front office and are due Friday, Feb 22nd. If you are passionate about ON and helping others, consider applying to be part of our crew!

    - Any student who took the PSAT test in October you can pick up your results in the front office.

    - Congratulations to the Varsity Girls bowling team for their 1st place finish yesterday!  Skylar Valdez finished 1st, Emily Stamper 2nd and Annabelle Bitner 5th place overall! Come cheer them on this Saturday at Olathe Lanes East.  The meet begins at 10am.

    - Latina Leadership Club will be selling donuts and hot chocolate next Wednesday morning before school in the commons. Come by and get your breakfast while supporting our club!

    - Eagle Service Club will be meeting early today in Mrs. Warren’s room due to a guest speaker. Please plan on bringing your lunch into room 115 & hear about all the service opportunities there are!

    - Do you know the best place to get cheap video games?  Head over to Olathe Trading Post & Pawn Shop to find your favorites.  While you're there, help Olathe North beat out the other Olathe high schools and vote for Olathe North's Culinary Arts themed window display! The contest ends on Valentine's Day!

    - Eagle Broadcast: Let’ s try again to meet during halftime TODAY. Please check in that day to sign up for spring events.  We need a team for Friday night’s game, Feb. 1. See Mr. Lane for more info.

    - Boy’s Tennis starts soon.  All boys interested in playing Tennis here at Olathe North this spring should plan to attend an informational meeting TODAY.  We will meet in room 016 at 3:05.  This meeting is for all new and returning players.

    - Attention all student authors! If you have written a poem, short story, narrative, or any creative prose, you should submit your work to Mindburst! The deadline for poetry is TODAY and short prose is TOMORROW. Get your submission forms from your English teacher or outside of room 930 in the English hallway. It’s time to get your work published!

    - If you are a student who left ceramics in Mr. Case's classroom over winter break, it has now been fired and is ready to be picked up. Please collect it by the end of the week!

    - Congratulations to the girl’s varsity bowling team for their 3rd place finish at the Freestate Open, and to Emily Stamper for her individual 6th place finish! JV Girls also qualified for the finals round, but lost to the #1 seed. Great Job Bowlers!

    - Attention all student authors! If you have written a poem, short story, narrative, or any creative prose, you should submit your work to Mindburst! The deadline for poetry is Monday, January 28th, and short prose is Tuesday, January 29th. Get your submission forms from your English teacher or outside of room 930 in the English hallway. It’s time to get your work published!

    - Track and Field athletes:  If you are interested in track and field you need to come to a short meeting this Wednesday, January 16th to get information about the upcoming season.  You can either come at the beginning of halftime A or halftime B.  You do need attend one of the meetings.  The meeting will be held in Coach Huseman’s room, room 015.

    - If you are interested in being a Peer Mentor for Mr. Caspermeyer or Ms. Farthing’s classes next year, see Mrs. Etherton in the counseling office right away to pick up an application

    - Eagle Service Club will have its first meeting of the semester today during Eagle Halftime B in Mrs. Warren’s room.

    - The following colleges will be at Olathe North during EHT: Wednesday, January 16th Pittsburg State University; Friday, January 18 Johnson County Community College. See Ms. Lopez to sign up.
