Sixth Grade Supplies

All supplies will be specifically labeled in classes. Parents should only write names on supplies.

• Supply bag (large enough to hold the following items)
  • 24 pencils, minimum
  • 2 highlighters
  • Colored pencils (set of 10 or 12)
  • 1 box fine-line markers
  • Wired earbuds or headphones
• Texas Instrument Calculator TI30Xa
• 2 pads of Post-It Notes, 3x3-inch (100 sheets per pad)
• 4 one-subject spiral notebooks, wide-ruled
• 1 three-subject spiral notebook, wide-ruled
• 4 plastic folders with pockets
• 1 1-inch binder for math (NO Trapper Keeper or zipper styles)
• 1 set of dividers, 5 tabs (for math binder, do not label)
• 3 boxes of Kleenex
• 3 containers of disinfecting wipes

*Additional supplies WILL be needed for elective classes.

Physical education uniforms may be purchased during enrollment.

• Grey CST physical education T-shirt
• Black shorts
• Socks
• Tennis shoes
• Secure bathing suit

Optional items for the PBIS ROCS store: chewy candy (full sized or mini Skittles, Swedish Fish, Gummy bears or worms, etc.)

Seventh Grade Supplies

ROCS Store Donations:

• Suckers (DumDums, LolliPops, PushPops, etc.)

General supplies to drop off in seventh grade science classrooms:

• 1 container of Clorox wipes
• 2-3 boxes of Kleenex
• 1 package of loose-leaf paper
• 1 package of graph paper

Supplies to keep with the student:

• 1 backpack
• 1 pencil bag to store the following items:
  • Pencils (enough to last the year in all classes)
  • 1 package of different colored highlighters
  • Red, black, and blue pens
  • 2 black felt tip Papermate flair markers (NOT Sharpies)
  • 1 box of colored pencils
  • 1 set of headphones/earbuds to leave in pencil bag
  • 2 glue sticks
  • Calculator: scientific calculator, non-graphing (recommended models are TI30XIIS, TI30XS or TI30XA)
• 1 2-inch binder for math
• 5 dividers with tabs for math
• 1 single-subject spiral notebook for science
• 1 composition notebook (NOT spiral) for English language arts
• 5 two-pocket folders for English language arts, literacy, social studies, science and homework
• 1 physical education uniform, to be purchased when fees are paid or on registration day

Eighth Grade Supplies

A student's elective classes may require additional items to be purchased as classes begin.

Necessary supplies across core curriculum:

• Pencil bag/organizer
• Earbuds (corded for use on assessments)
• 1-3 boxes of Kleenex
• 1 container of Clorox wipes
• 3 different colored highlighters
• Ruler (centimeters and inches)
• Pencils (enough to last the year)
• Black or blue pens
• 2-3 red pens
• 2 glue sticks
• Box of colored pencils
• 1 package of large (4x6-inch) notecards
• 1-3 bags of individually wrapped candy (No nuts, please! Jolly Ranchers, Starburst, Hershey Kisses, mints, etc. will be used for class rewards in all core classes throughout the year.)

Math 8

• 1.5-inch, solid 3-ring binder and 5 tab dividers OR accordion style with at least 5 sections
• Loose-leaf notebook paper

Algebra I
