Energy Pathway

  • Green Tech Academy logo The Energy Pathway courses are designed to provide a basic understanding of the various types of energy, how energy is obtained and the relationships among work, energy, and power. Students will also study the history and effects of energy on society, alternative power, safety and ethics. Students will evaluate the environmental benefits provided by sustainable resources and green technologies. Instruction is designed to allow for the application of science and technology to measure environmental impacts resulting from production agriculture through field and laboratory experiences.

  • To be considered a CTE Completer in the pathway, students must complete 3.0 credits within the course sequence and earn an industry recognized, comprehensive certification or pass a third-party, end-of-Pathway assessment. At least 2.0 of the required 3.0 required credits must be a combination of technical and application level courses.
