What does your Student Government do for our school?
Student Government works throughout the school year to provide ideas and spirit for our school. They also provide passive fundraising opportunities for our school and philanthropy to those in our community. If your student has an idea for something to improve our school, they can tell an SG representative and we’ll see what we can do! SG uses funds to provide needed items for our school (like the ML entry rug by the office, more art clips for the hallways, the mascot uniform, etc).
Earn Money for Meadow Lane with Passive Fundraising!
Papa John’s: Be sure to eat Papa John’s pizza on ML nights. A percentage of all sales comes back to SG. The more we buy, the more they give us!
The 2024 Papa John's Nights are:
- Tuesday, February 6
- Tuesday, April 9
Help the Community!
- Paper Recycling: Student Government organizes paper recycling in the school so we have less waste.
- Collect your tabs for the Ronald McDonald House of KC! They use the money made from recycling the tabs to help with house expenses. Thanks for pulling for RMH.
- Pennies for Shoes Drive: The Meadow Lane Student Government collected money for the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund during the week of December 4-8, 2023. This is a district competition and has provided thousands of shoes for our community. The Mayor’s Christmas Tree Fund helps the Center of Grace provide shoes for children in need.
- Thank you for all your help. We surpassed our goal of $1000 and raised $1084.13!
Mr. Welch will dance battle with students and staff at Meadow Lane at the December 19 Assembly.
