Cross-Country Information

  • Athletes must have the Cross-Country Registration, Physical, and Concussion forms on file with Mission Trail before participating in practice and meets. View the documents

All athletes must register for their sport using the Olathe Public Schools online forms and submit all required information and forms in ParentVue.

The Google form we are asking you to fill out is for Mission Trail coaches and has the district directions for completing the required OPS information and forms to participate.  The OPS forms must be completed and submitted to participate in cross-country. This is new this year.

Practices will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 3:25-4:30 p.m. (pick up should be no later than 4:40 p.m.) and Thursday from 3:20-4:45 p.m. (pick up should be no later than 4:55 p.m.). The first two weeks we will have practice from 7:20-8 a.m. Fridays.

Required to participate: A physical and a signed concussion and substance abuse form needs to be on file with the school nurse by Aug. 18 to participate in cross-country. Physicals can be completed after May 1, 2025, for the 2025-2026 school year.

No new runners will be allowed to join after the first week of practice. Aug. 21 is the last day to join cross-country. To participate in meets, athletes must complete 12 practices.
