    Information

Cross-country is a great sport for ALL athletes and a great way to get involved! Sixth, seventh and eighth graders are able to do cross-country! An informational meeting for parents will be held from 4:45-5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20 in the school auditorium. Download and print the Google cross-country packet

    Practice

Practices begin Aug. 18 and are held Monday-Friday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Athletes need to wear a T-shirt, athletic shorts, and tennis shoes to practice (and bring a water bottle). Practices begin in the auxiliary gym. Cross-country runners must complete and turn in a current physical, concussion form, and substance abuse policy form in order to participate. During the week, practices are usually composed of long runs, sprints, hills, and games.

    Meets

The cross-country team will compete in five meets this year. Sixth and seventh graders run one mile, and eighth graders run two miles.
