A Tradition of Excellence
Brougham Elementary School has a tradition of excellence and a future filled with further accomplishments. Beginning the 2017-2018 school year, Brougham became a Leader in Me school focusing on teaching and modeling the 7 Habits and uncovering the leader in every student. We are a partnership of students, parents, staff, and community working together to provide a caring and safe place where all students will learn and succeed as life-long learners. We love our school motto: "There’s No Place Like Brougham!”
History
Brougham opened in the fall of 1985 in the southeast section of Olathe with 413 students. Our mascot is “Pounce” the Panther and school colors are purple and white. Brougham has had three new additions since that time, the northwest wing opened in 1996, a new gym opened in 2003, and a new office suite was added on in 2013 to provide a pinch point to increase the safety and security of our building. Current enrollment is around 350 students. The Brougham staff serves students in preschool through fifth grade.
