  • Childcare is not provided for younger siblings during school activities. Please plan for alternate transportation for younger siblings.

    “CSI”

    The goal of the Cool Science Investigations program is to enhance the positive experiences elementary students have with science learning. We will offer three sessions (five or six meetings) of CSI to fourth and fifth grade students during the school year. Information regarding this activity will be sent home in the fall.

    Fun Runners

    Brougham’s running club — Fun Runners — consists of third through fifth grade students. Fun Runners practice after school in the fall and spring and participate in the Pumpkin Run in October. Information will be sent home in August and again in March.

    Math Wings

    Math Wings is a competitive club that meets once a week after school. The meetings consist of intense mental math skills, problem-solving competitions, vocabulary review, and various “math” scrimmages. It is structured using the format developed by the district in preparation for three separate competitions. Information regarding participation requirements for fourth and fifth grade students will be sent home in September.

    Panther Chorus

    Panther Chorus is a choir made up of fourth and fifth graders at Brougham Elementary and will perform four times during the year. It is a volunteer, non-audition group that meets two to three times a week before school. Panther Chorus rehearsals work on independent singing, part singing, and vocal musicianship. Information will be sent home in August.

    Spirit Squad

    The Brougham Spirit Squad is for all students in first through third grades who are interested in supporting their school through movement and fun. The Spirit Squad practices once a week to prepare for their performances at the three main PTO events. Spirit Squad encourages growth in students through dance and cheerleading while encouraging positivity and enthusiasm! Information will be sent home in August.
