We are thrilled to have your child join us for kindergarten here at Pleasant Ridge!

Going to kindergarten is an exciting time for not only the child, but the parents as well.

Your first step is enrollment.

If you have an incoming kindergarten student, please contact the office at 913-780-7590 or email prattendance@olatheschools.org

An appointment will be made in order to fill out paperwork and receive information.

By Kansas statute, children must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31, 2025, to be eligible for enrollment.

What will you need to bring?

Parents are required to bring the following documents to the appointment:

• Certified copy of child's birth certificate (required by Kansas statute)
• Proof of residency (copy of current utility bill, contract, internet bill, etc.)

Parents also need to bring these documents for the school nurse.

• Current immunizations record
• Current physical (within one year)
