KanCare is health insurance at little or no cost for Kansas children under age 19. It is available to families meeting certain income criteria. Services covered include: regular checkups, immunizations, office visits, hospital services, lab and x-ray services, prescription drugs, dental care, eye doctor check-ups and glasses, as well as mental health and substance abuse services. Forms are available in the nurse’s office or online. I will be happy to assist you in completing these forms.
