Jan. 30, 2024

A Message from Superintendent Dr. Brent Yeager

Olathe Public Schools Community,

We have an exciting announcement to make — we are embarking on a journey to update the Olathe Public Schools brand! We are kicking off the Olathe Public Schools rebranding project to update the district's visual identity to better reflect our values, goals, and the community we serve. As we reimagine the district’s brand, we want YOUR voice to be heard. Please watch this announcement video for details on how you can get involved.

We're calling on our students, staff, families, and community members to share your ideas. What colors, shapes, and symbols do you feel embody the essence of Olathe Public Schools? Your perspectives are invaluable in creating a visual identity that truly represents who we are and what we stand for.

Right now, here are ways you can submit your input:

  1. Fill out the community survey.
  2. Submit your ideas to the “#OPSRebrand Community Gallery” located on our district website.
  3. Simply post your ideas to social media using #OPSRebrand.
  4. Send your ideas directly to the Communications Department at the Education Center (14160 S. Black Bob Rd., Olathe).

This input will play a vital role in crafting a new visual identity that will resonate with district values while serving as a symbol of collective pride in Olathe Public Schools. We are so excited to listen and learn from our community about what this district means to them. We can’t wait to hear from you! To learn more, please visit our rebrand webpage.

Your very proud superintendent,
Dr. Brent Yeager
Superintendent, Olathe Public Schools
