Feb. 1, 2024 ~ The Olathe Head Start preschool for low-income families is now accepting applications for the 2024-25 school year. This year, the process is especially easy for families; they just need to complete an online form and a staff member will contact them to start the process.

Children must be at least 3 years old by Aug. 31 this year to be eligible for the 2024-25 program. Olathe Head Start also serves children with special needs (Individualized Education Program or Individualized Family Service Plan). Families must live in Johnson County and within the school districts of Olathe, Gardner-Edgerton, DeSoto, Spring Hill or Blue Valley.
