6-14-18 — Online Registration to Open July 9
June 14, 2018 ~ Online registration for the 2018-19 school year will open on July 9. Parents will be able to sign into their ParentVue account by going to http://parentvue.olatheschools.com. There, they will be able to complete all the necessary registration documents for each of their children. After completing their tasks on ParentVUE, parents will then go to www.mypaymentsplus.com to pay all fees online.
It's important to note that families new to the district will need to visit their child's school to register on July 26. Families in need of assistance will have two options to get help with the online registration process. They can visit their child’s school on July 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for help with the registration process or they can call the district’s Registration Helpline at 913-780-7781. Parents of preschool and kindergarten students will receive a letter with instructions regarding ParentVUE. Incoming kindergarten students who have enrolled online do not need to report to schools unless assistance in completing the process is needed.
While online registration will help streamline many of the important parts of getting ready for the school year, there are still a few reasons students and parents may need to visit their middle and high schools on July 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. At our middle schools, students can pick up their schedules, check out their lockers and purchase spirit wear. At our high schools, students can pick up their yearbooks, get a parking pass and purchase some spirit wear. Specific activities offered on registration day at middle and high school may vary by building and will be communicated by the principal.
Elementary schools will be open on July 26 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. only to register new families and assist with online registration for those in need of help. More information on Sneak-a-Peek nights will come directly from elementary buildings.
All parents are encouraged to enroll their children by the end of the day on July 26.
