2-15-18 — Reach Out to Alumni Association
Feb. 15, 2018 ~ The Olathe Public Schools Alumni Association would like to hear from alums throughout the decades, especially those who served as class representatives. An online form makes it easy for alums to update their contact information with the association. (complete the directory update form)
Community Liaison Heather Schoonover and association treasurer Lew Lewis are building a database of class representatives through the years, going back as far as the 1940s.
“We’re trying to reach out to those who have graduated in the last 30 or so years,” Lewis said. “We need their current contact information so we can keep our lists updated and relevant for those who are planning reunions.”
Each year more than 2,000 graduates automatically become members of the Olathe Public Schools Alumni Association, and are encouraged to provide their contact information for the association’s database. Keeping up with alums from previous years and decades is more difficult, and that is why the association is encouraging everyone to use the directory update form.
Questions about the alumni association can be directed to Amanda York, amyork@olatheschools.org, or 913-780-8182.
