12-1-15 — Alexander Kolar Earns Perfect ACT Score
Dec. 1, 2015 ~ Alexander Kolar, a junior at Olathe North High School, has earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT. Nationally, while the actual number of students earning a composite score of 36 varies from year to year, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students taking the ACT earn a top score.
"We were extremely excited upon hearing the news that Alexander Kolar received a perfect score on the ACT," Olathe North Principal David Morford said. "He is an excellent student and works very hard. We are very proud of Alexander and that he has joined such a select group of students and continues the tradition of students achieving a perfect ACT score at Olathe North. This marks the fourth consecutive year of a student achieving this level at Olathe North and is a testament to the high level of academic achievement and rigor that our school reflects."
Kolar is involved in marching band and jazz band and is on the Science Olympiad team. He is in the 21st Century Distinguished Scholars Math program and is also a Boy Scout.
