Pioneer Trail Named High Performing School
Pioneer Trail Middle School has been named a Kansas High Performing School for 2016 by the Kansas Association of Middle School Administrators.
Schools chose one of five areas — relationships, relevance, responsive culture, results and rigor — where the school has demonstrated growth and submitted a one-page document about it, along with anything that helped document the improvement.
"It's very exciting to have Pioneer Trail recognized as a Kansas High Performing School," Pioneer Trail Principal Elaine Carpenter said. "All our staff, certified and classified, work so hard each and every day to create positive, caring relationships with our students. We know those relationships are then what truly create a great learning environment.
"Pioneer Trail is a wonderful family to be a part of and we're honored by this recognition."
Pioneer Trail is one of 23 middle schools to receive the distinction in 2016.
