April 10, 2025 ~ The Olathe Public Schools Special Services Site Council will host a free seminar for parents of students with disabilities and exceptionalities. “Home and Community-Based Services Waiver” is the topic of the Tuesday, April 29 Zoom meeting. Join the Zoom presentation by 6:30 p.m.

This session is appropriate for families of students with disabilities in grades 3-12. Lois Ferguson from the Community Development Disabilities Organization will discuss and answer questions about home and community-based services. She will cover how and when to apply, the waiting list, and the services a child may receive if eligible for the waiver. CDDO helps coordinate services and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
