Jan. 13, 2021 ~ Nathan Zhang, a sophomore at Olathe East High School, has earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT. Nationally, while the actual number of students earning a composite score of 36 varies from year to year, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students taking the ACT earn a top score.
“We are incredibly proud of Nathan, this is quite a feat for a sophomore,” Olathe East Principal Kerry Lane said. “He is a self-directed, independent learner and an excellent problem solver.”
He is involved in debate, a member of the swim team and the Design Academy.
