4-2-21 — Four Olathe Students Achieve Perfect ACT Scores
April 2, 2021 ~ Olathe Northwest High School juniors Liam Moore, Connor Schroeder and Caleb Cooper, and Olathe North High School junior Akerth Jain have each earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT.
Nationally, while the actual number of students earning a composite score of 36 varies from year to year, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students taking the ACT earn a top score.
“Olathe Northwest is very proud of Liam’s perfect ACT score,” Olathe Northwest Principal Chris Zuck said. “This achievement is a reflection of his talent and the academic rigor and focus at Olathe Northwest.”
Moore is in the Engineering Academy, a member of the cross country team, track and Scholars’ Bowl.
“Olathe Northwest is incredibly proud of Connor’s perfect ACT score,” Zuck said. “Connor is a hardworking, talented young man who has been diligent in his academic efforts.”
Schroeder is in the Engineering Academy, involved in orchestra piano and provides violin lessons.
“Caleb’s perfect ACT score is an amazing accomplishment,” Zuck said. “We are fortunate to have students like him at Olathe Northwest.”
Cooper is in the Engineering Academy, band and a Life Scout in Troop 83.
“The Olathe North community is so proud of Akerth and this amazing accomplishment,” Olathe North Principal Jason Herman said. “His academic efforts have paid off at the highest level. He is an example of how the Olathe School District and Olathe North prepares students for their future.”
