May 26, 2020 ~ Olathe Food Services, Café 233, kicked off its summer food service program which runs Mondays and Wednesdays ending July 29. Meals will be served at the same nine sites that were used during continuous learning:
Central, 305 E. Cedar Street
Fairview, 600 N. Marion
Havencroft, 1700 E. Sheridan Street
Indian Creek, 15800 Indian Creek Parkway
Northview, 900 N. Woodland Road
Ridgeview, 1201 E. Elm Street
Rolling Ridge, 1500 W. Elm Terrace
Washington, 1202 N. Ridgeview Road
Westview, 500 S. Troost Street
The sites will be open Monday and Wedesdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. These meal packs will be provided for students 18 and under. Children must be present to receive the meals.
Two breakfasts and lunches will provided each Mondays, and three breakfasts and lunches will be offered on Wednesdays.
Families driving to pick up meals should pull forward and open their trunk so that staff members can place meals into the trunk. This will further limit person-to-person contact as an additional precaution to keep families and staff members safe. Reducing the number of person-to-person contacts each week will help to keep our school communities safe and healthy.
