4-17-19 — District Named to America's Best Midsize Employers

April 17, 2019 ~ Olathe Public Schools has been named as one of America’s Best Midsize Employers by Forbes. In collaboration with analytics from Statista, Forbes selects America’s Best Employers based on an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 50,000 U.S. employees for companies employing at least 1,000 people in their U.S. operations.

“To be recognized by Forbes as one of the best midsize employers in America is a great accomplishment,” John Allison, superintendent of Olathe Public Schools, said. “This honor is reflective of the work of our incredible staff members as they strive to provide for students in Olathe. We are pleased to have been named on this esteemed list.”

Employing more than 4,500 staff members, Olathe Public Schools is the largest school district in the Kansas City metropolitan area and serves more than 30,000 students from Olathe, Lenexa, Overland Park and Shawnee.
