Jan. 30, 2023 ~ The Olathe Board of Education will hold its regular meeting at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 in the Education Center, 14160 S. Black Bob Road, Olathe. The doors will open at 5:15 p.m. Anyone wishing to address the board should email Clerk of the Board Barb Behm by noon Thursday, Feb. 2. See our Rules for Public Comment webpage for details. 

Approval of this month’s meeting agenda will be followed by two recognitions. 

Two informational presentations are planned. Clearwater Creek Elementary School Principal Nate Kremer will share highlights of his school, staff and students. Interim Assistant Superintendent for Learning Services LuAnn Hermreck and other members of her team will give a brief presentation of how the district supports the continuous improvement of leadership, teaching and student learning.  

The board will vote on a consent agenda of routine items as well as bids, contracts and agreements. Board members will receive information on future action items and two written reports. 

One executive session is planned for the board to discuss employer-employee negotiations.
