July 29, 2024 ~ The Olathe Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 in the Instructional Resource Center, 14090 S. Black Bob Road, Olathe. (Please note the location change.) The doors open at 5:15 p.m. Anyone wishing to address the board should email Clerk of the Board Barb Behm before noon Thursday, Aug. 1. See our Rules for Public Comment webpage for details.

The evening will begin with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by adoption of the meeting agenda. The board will recognize several talented students before hearing a presentation about the budget development process. 

The board will act on a consent agenda of routine items; nearly a dozen bids, contracts and agreements; and one other action item. Board members will receive information on several future action items, then review two written reports.  

An executive session is planned for the board to discuss employer-employee negotiations. The complete agenda is available on the BoardDocs website.
