9-27-18 — Students Busy Creating New Pieces of Art

Sept. 27, 2018 ~ From jewelry and wire sculpture to oil paintings of sunsets, student artists in the Olathe Public Schools have created a variety of art pieces so far this school year. The district’s Education Center, 14160 S. Black Bob Road, is currently showcasing works by early childhood students through high school seniors.

The public is welcome to view the artwork on display in the hallways from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Fridays. The exhibit closes on Nov. 2. Middle school art will be featured starting in mid-November.
