District to Host Spring Site Council, Grand Opening of Innovation Campus

Olathe Public Schools is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of the new Olathe Public Schools Innovation Campus (OPSIC), a transformative space designed to support student learning and innovation.

Join us at our Spring Site Council on Thursday, Feb. 19 from 6-7:30 p.m. for a Grand Opening of OPSIC, located at 450 N. Rogers Road, Olathe, KS 66062. Student-led tours of the new facility will be available for attendees at this come-and-go event. No RSVP is necessary.

OPSIC houses several career pathway programs with real-world opportunities, the 18-21-plus transitional program for students with special needs, and both an Operations Service Center hub and Graphic Communications printshop, allowing for future collaboration between students and staff. Real-world opportunities include unique spaces designed for future community participation, including a fully-equipped prep kitchen with dining room space and coffee shop, as well as an Animal Health space with attached grooming space, to name a few.

All Olathe Public Schools community members are invited to this biannual event to learn more about how our district is preparing today's students — and the next generations — for success in an ever-changing world.
