Alison Krumbiegel

Alison Krumbiegel’s passion for gymnastics started at the young age of 3 and continued well into her teens. After moving to Kansas City, Alison did gymnastics at Beller’s Dance Studio, Emerald City Gymnastics and McCracken’s Gymnastics. Alison competed as a USAG Junior Olympic Gymnast for nine years. Throughout her competitive gymnastics career, Alison competed as one of the five representatives of the state of Kansas in Nationals in Washington, D.C., and she qualified and competed in Region III Regionals in Houston, Texas. She was training for Level 9 when she suffered a back injury that ultimately ended her gymnastics career. From 2005-2007, Alison taught at Diamond Gymnastics and Dance Academy in Overland Park, coaching males and females in both gymnastics and tumbling. Alison also danced on a professional dance team for four years, but retired from that career in order to pursue a teaching career at ONW.
