The Student and Community Engagement department connects students with meaningful opportunities that foster belonging, leadership, and community involvement. Through unique programs like The Spot and the nationally recognized Leadership Lowrider Bike Club, students build relationships, gain life skills, and engage in creative, collaborative work.

The Department of Culture and Belonging is committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment for every student, staff member, and family in Olathe Public Schools through initiatives like the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Contest, the Student Leadership Conference, and the work of the District Equity and Access Committee (DEAC).
