Retired Employees Association

The OPSREA mission is to promote a vibrant community of retired colleagues where we celebrate our shared history, advocate for our interests, embrace lifelong learning, strengthen social connections, and contribute our time and talents through volunteerism and support for future educators.

The Olathe Public Schools Retired Employee Association (OPSREA) welcomes all retired Olathe Public Schools employees, including former teachers, paraeducators, administrators, and support staff from across the district. A private Facebook group is available for members to stay informed and engaged.

The association’s goal is to enrich lives by providing valuable resources for its members and the educational community. Through friendships, school involvement, and mentoring opportunities, OPSREA fosters connection and continued service.

Executive Board meetings are held at Mill Creek Campus (300 E. Loula, Olathe, KS 66061) on the fourth Wednesday morning of the month.

"We're excited about this organization because it provides the opportunity to keep in touch with former colleagues, to make new friends through social activities, and to continue to serve the students of this district and the community of Olathe." - OPSREA Board
